ITT FM

ITTfm is an extracurricular activity that I was heavily involved in throughout my time in college. This college radio station for IT Tallaght, was run by the Radio Society. My position on this committee was Station Manager. In this role I was responsible for the overall running of the station, scheduling, training and station development.

The station broadcasts bi-yearly on 99.1fm, in September and again in February. The content in this section of my website is mainly from Radio Week 2016, when we broadcast over 100 hours of content on fm and online.

Schedule for Radio Week 2016.

Alot of planning went into this, ensuring there was a mix of shows, suiting all listners across the day.
Daily format was as follows:

- Breakfast Show
- Society Show
- Lunch Show
- Music Show
- Current Affairs Show
- Student Interest Show
- Specialist Programming
- Drivetime
- Music Show

By following this format, it meant there was a mix of music, chat, current affairs and specialist interest programming.

News was also of utmost importance to ITTfm, this was the first year that a dedicated news team was constructed, ensureing an hourly news, sports and weather update.
Here is a sample of some of my audio from Radio Week 2016. Below are interviews from my show, Drivetime.
